Jet Set Radio graffitis the Vita this Summer

A few months back, we reported that Jet Set Radio is coming to the Xbox 360 via Xbox LIVE Arcade, as well as the PlayStation Network, and to PCs via digital download. Well today, SEGA announced that their updated remix of Jet Set Radio is also coming to the PlayStation Vita, complete with touchscreen graffiti creation and some sort of camera integration.

“The fan reaction to our recent reveal of Jet Set Radio has been incredible!” said Haruki Satomi, Senior Vice President of Digital Business at SEGA. “As Jet Set Radio is focused on creativity, the touch capabilities of the PlayStation VITA are proving to be a perfect fit.”

Lucky for us super fans, the game will be playable at E3 this year in Los Angeles, and we’ve scheduled some hands-on time with SEGA to find out every detail about the game before it launches sometime later in the Summer. It is unclear whether or not we’ll see the Vita version via digital download or physical cartridge as the game isn’t a direct port of the PS3 and Xbox 360 Arcade versions. We’ll just have to wait and see. Until then, take another look at the trailer from the original announcement:
