Sony was understandably against shouting it from the rooftops, but Hello Games’ No Man’s Sky is indeed coming to PC simultaneously with the game’s PlayStation 4 launch.

At the PC Gaming Show, the company’s founder Sean Murray took to the stage to let everyone know that the game will indeed be coming to the Windows platform, and that it will happen at the same time.

Murray also stated that he initially intended on announcing a release date at Sony’s press conference but that was scrapped as the company wants to be sure that they are able to hit their mark and deliver the game they want to make. He did assure audience members that the date would be announced “very soon”.

Along with the confirmation of a PC release came a new trailer for the game, and though it’s a bit more sizzle reel and less trailer, we’re still stoked for No Man’s Sky.
