The Canadian Videogame Awards have been around for six years now, and Toronto will once again be host to the festivities this year.
The 6th Annual CVAs will be open to the public as tickets go on sale next Monday, August 31st. Fans who sign up for the show’s newsletter before that date will also be eligible for a 10% discount off the ticket package of their choosing.
There’s also the two-day FanFest, an event that lets gamers get their hands on newly-released and in-development games.
More details will come from the CVAs in the coming weeks, including how the awards show plans to celebrate the games that are made in our great nation. The show has been getting bigger and bigger, and while still a few years away, the 2017 event will take place in Ottawa to jointly celebrate gaming and our nation’s 150th birthday.
