After thirteen long years, beloved European adventure game series, Syberia is finally getting a new installment! Syberia 3 will be headed to PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in North America this coming Tuesday, April 25th, and is releasing today on these same platforms in Europe and the U.K. A Nintendo Switch version of Syberia 3 is also in development for release later in 2017.

For those unaware, the Syberia franchise follows the adventures of American attorney, Kate Walker, as she travels to various remote landscapes across Europe and Russia, experiencing incredible discoveries and outwitting dangerous enemies. Fans of Broken Sword in particular can enjoy a similar style of gameplay and story progression, as the all-new Syberia 3 takes the series to a proper real-time three-dimensional conversion, with an all-new tale that has Kate entering the company of the fictional Youkoi tribe, in a new quest across Eastern Europe.

If you’re a fan of adventure games, consider this your PSA to check out a beloved and long-dormant adventure game series that you may have missed in its first two incarnations! Syberia and Syberia 2 can easily be found on Steam, iOS and Android, as well as the last-gen digital storefronts of Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Syberia 3, meanwhile, will be sold at retail as well as digitally, across PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, plus its Nintendo Switch incarnation when that arrives.
