South Park: Phone Destroyer will bring cards, battling to your favourite mobile device

Few may be talking about it, but there is another South Park game to be excited about. That is, if you’re someone who likes to game on their phone.

A supposed free-to-play experience, South Park: Phone Destroyer will bring Cartman and his friends to those multipurpose cellphones that are practically glued to our hands these days. They won’t be playing superheroes, though, nor will they be dressed up as their alter-egos from The Stick of Truth. Instead, the subject of this next, more mobile outing, is going to be cowboys versus Native Americans, with some aliens, clerics, knights and buccaneers thrown in for good measure.

Below, you’ll find the game’s reveal trailer, as well as the blurb that accompanies it on YouTube. We felt we’d include it, because it does a good job of setting the tone of, and describing the details of what’s sure to be a hilarious take on Cowboys versus Indians.

From South Park Digital Studios comes a real-time battle game like nothing you’ve ever experienced before! Take on Cartman, Kenny, Stan and Kyle in all out mobile mayhem!

South Park: Phone Destroyer brings you iconic South Park characters, action packed real-time strategy, exploding PvP battles, trademark South Park humor and collectible cards in a perfect mix that’s spicier than Cartman’s chili con carne.

Assemble the ultimate team of cowboys, wizards, cyborgs and more and get ready to crush your opponent!

All those countless hours spent on your phone have been preparing you for this moment. Fulfill your destiny and become… THE ULTIMATE PHONE DESTROYER!

South Park: Phone Destroyer is being developed through a partnership between RedLynx (a Ubisoft studio) and South Park Studios, making it the series’ official mobile game. Expect to be able to play it sometime in 2017, on iOS and Android.
