Through a brand new trailer for Dishonored: Death of the Outsider, Arkane Studios has asked gamers if they feel that they have it in themselves to kill a god. Of course, the god in question is the titular Outsider, whose darkness and intervening have thus far factored into two incredible games.
This time around, there’s a “new storm brewing in the Empire of the Isles,” and it’s our job to try to put an end to it as Rosario Dawson’s Billie Lurk. We won’t be alone, though, as Daud (who’s voiced by Michael Madsen) will also be along for the ride, as we attempt to take out the Outsider, who continues to be portrayed by Robin Lord Taylor of Gotham fame. Of course, it won’t be easy, as lots will be thrown in our way, including new enemy types, underground fight clubs and a strange cult of some sort.
Hell, we’ll even get to partake in a Dishonored-style bank heist.
By watching this trailer you’ll get a good look at some of the game’s new enemy variants, including creatures that look like they’ve come out of Halo 5: Guardians, all while listening to Marilyn Manson’s fantastic, “Killing Strangers.”
Billie and her supernatural powers will come to life on September 15th, when Dishonored: Death of the Outsider is scheduled to hit retail and digital shelves. A standalone release, it carries a $30 USD price tag and is in the works for PC, Xbox One and PS4.
