Monster Energy Supercross: The Official Videogame shows off its track editor

Through a short, minute-and-a-half long trailer, the team behind Milestone’s Monster Energy Supercross: The Official Videogame have given fans of the sport a look at the game’s involved track editor. One that aims to invoke man’s love for creating things, as well as the inner child in us all.

The trailer and its complementary press release promise an involved system, which will let players use eighty different modules to create the motocross tracks of their dreams. Once the stadium has been selected, and the starting grid has been placed, creators can then use these turns, jumps, whoops, angles and everything else to design something epic and challenging, or perhaps even something simple and casual. Whatever one’s mood dictates.

Once created, these custom courses can then be shared with the community, through a system that awards prestige based on the amount of likes one’s creations receive.

Monster Energy Supercross: The Official Videogame will be released onto Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC on February 13th. Following that initial release, the game will then make its way to Nintendo’s Switch.
