According to Amazon’s Canadian iteration, Ubisoft is prepping a new Splinter Cell game for release later this year. Thus, fans of the stealth-action series could be in for a nice present come this fall and holiday season. Hell, maybe even before that.
Although five years have passed since Sam Fisher went on his last digital mission, that being August 2013’s Splinter Cell: Blacklist, Ubisoft has been very quiet on that front. However, given the amount of time that has passed, and how popular the series has been over the years, it makes sense for them to reveal a new game during this June’s E3 expo. Frankly, it’s surprising that they didn’t so so sooner.
