We’d heard rumblings about it, but now it’s official: Shadow of the Tomb Raider will, in fact, be the iconic series’ next interactive installment. Don’t get too excited for details at this point, however, because they’re not expected until April 27th, and surely at E3 as well.
Shadow of the Tomb Raider will resume Lara’s visceral and incredibly dangerous quest for valuable relics, and will once again put her in harm’s way. The game’s teaser trailer shows that from the start, and also displays some very beautiful, albeit non-gameplay, visuals.
Expect a full reveal on April 27th, and mark your calendars for September 14th. It’s on that early autumn day that we’ll all be able to play Shadow of the Tomb Raider, on Xbox One, PS4 and PC. It’s also worth mentioning that both the X and Pro consoles are expected to receive upgrades.
