Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege announces free-to-play weekend

If you’ve been curious about Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege, but haven’t been able to purchase it (or been willing to part with the cash blindly), then you’re in luck. Ubisoft has announced a free-to-play weekend, which will occur later this month.

Said free weekend will take place on May 17th, through to the 20th, and will occur on all platforms including consoles and PC.

Players who try the game during the free weekend can carry over their progress and continue to play uninterrupted if they purchase the game. They will also benefit from a discount of up to 50% off on the Standard, Advanced, Gold, Complete Editions between May 17 and May 28, on select consoles*.

In the upcoming Operation Para Bellum, two new Italian operators and a new map, The Villa, will be introduced, alongside many gameplay improvements such as the new Pick & Ban feature.
