Bethesda talks Fallout 76 at Microsoft’s presser

Todd Howard took the stage at Microsoft’s press conference to talk Fallout 76. In doing so, he announced that the game is a prequel to the previous games, is four times as large as Fallout 4 and is set in the hills of West Virginia.

After that, a trailer began and the song “Country Roads” kicked into high gear.

“In Fallout 76, our future begins,” the trailer states, shortly after stating that we’ll have to work to, “Rebuild not just walls and monuments, but America itself.” This lends itself to the rumours that the game is an online, base building survival experience, but we still don’t know for sure.

It is also worth noting that, during this same segment of the conference, it was announced that Fallout 4 is now available on Xbox Game Pass.

Stay tuned for more information pertaining to Fallout 76. We expect lots from tonight’s Bethesda conference.
