On the second last day of May, gamers will be able to set out to explore the Outer Wilds and everything they have to offer. Granted, this hinges on one owning either an Xbox One console or a gaming capable PC.
Winner of two awards at the 2015 Independent Games Festival, Outer Wilds exists as an open world exploration title. Through it, players can explore a solar system in disarray, with that disruption being an endless time loop. Those who take on the challenge will do so as the newest member of a space program called the Outer Wilds Ventures, and are promised plants “with hidden locations that change with the passage of time.”
Annapurna Interactive will help bring Mobius Digital’s Outer Wilds to Xbox One and PC, via the Epic Games Store, on May 30th.
