It’s been talked about, debated, and heavily promoted. Now we can see what we’re in for, thanks to the first official gameplay trailer for Square Enix’s Marvel’s Avengers. A video that has been released in time for gamescom, and has been anticipated to say the least.
What you’ll see is footage from what we presume is the game’s first mission, A-Day. Within, the player cycles through each of the Avengers’ main members, getting a chance to learn how to play as them all. The result is a nice mix of visceral action and crippling combat accented by the abilities of Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Hulk and Black Widow. Unsurprisingly, both Hulk and Thor have what look to be some of the most devastating and impressive attacks, but the others are no slouches.
We will unfortunately have to wait until May 15, 2020 to get our hands on Marvel’s Avengers. From the looks of things, though, the wait will be worth it.
