Through Twitter, the folks behind Call of Duty: Modern Warfare have announced their plans to begin the third season of their hit game next week. The exact date? April 8th.
The very to-the-point tweet didn’t offer anything in the way of information or content details, but it did supply an image. One in which three new operators are shown. It is also expected that Call of Duty 4‘s Backlot map will return, although data miners discovered information pertaining to the return of Backlot and Village from Modern Warfare 3. As such, we’ll have to wait and see.
Expect to have to download another massive update when Call of Duty: Modern Warfare begins Season 3 on Wednesday.
