Today brought with it something that had been anticipated for a very long time. That is, a gameplay trailer for DoubleFine’s Psychonauts 2.
However, instead of releasing a typical trailer, those behind the quirky sequel have provided us with something noteworthy. Something that could basically be called a sort of Jack Black music video. He sings as the surreal world of Psychonauts 2 is teased before our very eyes.
Through this memorable video, you’ll see lots of colour, tons of 60s inspired imagery and a lot of weirdness. Then again, that’s the charm behind this series.
What you’ll also see is gameplay, featuring combat and a magical guitar. There’s also puzzle solving, world manipulation and a sweet hippy van that allows one to travel long distances in stylish ways.
