As promised, EA Sports and Sportsnet have teamed up to release the second episode of their Great 8-focused webseries, ‘From Alex to Ovi.’ It’s now available on YouTube, and is tied into the promotional plan for NHL 21, which is set to release in mid-October.
Episode 2 follows Alex Ovechkin’s rise to NHL stardom, and his rivalry with Canada’s Sid the Kid. Thus, it covers the heyday of the intense Penguins/Capitals rivalry. You’ll also get to see/hear interviews with some of the League’s biggest names, as they discuss Ovechkin’s impact on the sport.
