First footage of Spectre teases James Bond’s return

Armed to the teeth with weapons, cars, and beautiful scenery, Spectre, the latest entry in the James Bond franchise, is hitting theatres in November.

Thanks to director Sam Mendes, we’re getting our first look at the film in the form of a two-minute behind-the-scenes featurette. Taking place in the Austrian mountains, Spectre is not a sequel to any previous Bond film, though it does borrow the title from a famous organization within the series, SPECTRE.

Daniel Craig, our favourite protagonist, only shows up near the end for a few moments, though he does high-wheel his badassery all over the screen.

“We have to deliver an amazing sequence and this is going to be one of the major action sequences of the movie,” says associate producer Gregg Wilson. “It’s going to be spectacular and Austria seemed to offer everything that we needed to pull it off.”

The new Bond car, Aston Martin’s DB10, has been designed exclusively for Spectre and will likely never hit the real streets in its current incarnation. Sadly, the car isn’t given any spotlight in the video, but we know it’s coming, and we can’t wait.

Spectre hits theatres on November 6th, 2015.
