Clear River Games has announced that it’ll be bringing a classic shoot ‘em-up back this coming winter. That will be R-Type Delta HD Boosted, which shall return 27 years after its maiden voyage.
Originally released in 1998, to critical acclaim, this PlayStation One title will come to modern devices in updated fashion. It will do this starting on November 20th. Physical editions will be available for PS5 and Switch, while digital versions will be released onto those two as well as Xbox Series and PC.
When this occurs, the updated classic will boast improved visuals, a new opening movie, a remixed soundtrack, and a heap of quality of life features. This includes 60 FPS, the ability to hop between modern and classic visuals, an all new practice mode and a reworked soundtrack.
