A nice surprise arose out of THQ Nordic’s 2025 showcase, which occurred today. It came in the form of a teaser, which served as a way of announcing that Darksiders 4 is in development. This is good news for those of us who’ve enjoyed the franchise since its debut in 2010.
From the looks of things, this sequel will star all four Horsemen, and will do so on PC, Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5.
Although the Darksiders franchise kind of fell on hard times, and disappointed with its last couple of entries, the first two were great. Here’s hoping that Darksiders 4 will be a return to form. After all, the first game was exceptional, and its first sequel was also pretty excellent, albeit a bit too confined and repetitive.
