When the retro-styled beat ’em-up, Marvel: Cosmic Invasion, drops, it will unleash a roster of approximately fifteen different superheroes on their digitized enemies. As of today, we know who twelve of those will be, thanks to the announcement of two more heroes joining the cause; those being Black Panther and Cosmic Ghost Rider.
The gimmick, if you will, behind this pixelated brawler is that each player chooses two heroes whom he or she can swap between. As such, it’s understandable that it’ll have a rather large roster, which is now made up of:
- Captain America
- Spider-Man
- Venom
- Wolverine
- Storm
- Phyla-Vell
- Nova
- Rocket Raccoon
- She-Hulk
- Beta Ray Bill
- Silver Surfer
- Black Panther
- Cosmic Ghost Rider
Earlier today, the folks at Tribute Games — who are helming this interesting looking and sounding project — premiered a new trailer. As expected, it features the game’s two new playable characters in action.
It’s expected that Marvel: Cosmic Invasion will release this year.
