4:Loop gameplay and details revealed

During this evening’s PlayStation State of Play, we learned more about, and saw footage from, 4:Loop. That is, a four player co-op shooter from Bad Robot Games.

Featuring a roguelike structure, this game sees players working together to fight off an alien invasion. Before matches, folks will vote on nodes, which will create the experience they end up playing. Each one will be randomly generated, and will task folks with completing objectives, like saving citizens, hacking computers, and more, all while dealing with the alien invasion.

As today’s trailer showed, this is a unique and quirky new IP, which even includes a Rubik’s Cube boss, and alien berries that teleport foes.

Stay tuned for more regarding 4:Loop.
