RedOctane Games announces new rhythm game platform: Stage Tour

Made up of genre veterans, RedOctane Games is a new studio that announced something big for us rhythm fans. They call it Stage Tour.

With a multi-year partnership with Gibson under its belt, Stage Tour is an all-new music and rhythm game that is expected to release in time for the holidays. It’s been designed to respect the past, but evolve for the future, and is more than a game: it’s a long term platform.

Stage Tour is our love letter to rhythm gaming,” said Simon Ebejer, Head of Studio at RedOctane Games. “We want Stage Tour to feel familiar and authentic, but also fresh, utilizing modern technology to connect gamers with the music they love and enjoying a platform that evolves and grows over time. With new instruments and deep charting systems, we’re raising the bar on what we believe a rhythm game can be, while also catering to those wishing to simply enjoy a casual experience and have a good time.”

“For a generation of players, rhythm games transformed music from something you listened to into something you lived—inspiring countless people to pick up real instruments and explore their creativity,” says Taylor Berryman, Sr. Manager, Lifestyle & Licensing at Gibson. “Stage Tour is the next evolution of that influence. We’re thrilled to partner with RedOctane to reimagine what rhythm gaming can be and to spark deeper connection, creativity, and a lifelong love of music for generations to come.”

This partnership brings the Gibson, Epiphone and Kramer brands directly into Stage Tour, adding authenticity that reflects the heritage and character of real rock performance.
