Today, the folks at GameMill Entertainment uploaded a new video for their crossover action-RPG, Nicktoons & The Dice of Destiny. A game in which players can hack, slash, bash and cast spells as they quest while controlling one of their favourite Nicktoons characters, such as SpongeBob SquarePants, Sandy Cheeks, Leonardo from TMNT and Timmy from the Fairly Oddparents.
Of course, all of this takes place within Nickelodeon inspired fantasy lands.
Today’s new look at this game provides us with a better glimpse of its gameplay. More specifically, it gives a better idea of what the ARPG mechanics will be like.
Announced alongside this trailer, is a Collector’s Edition for those with interest. It includes:
- A copy of the game (for either PS5 or Switch)
- Wardrobe of Wonder DLC code, which unlocks one new costume for each playable character
- Wooden dice tray with storage compartment
- Custom dice and travel pouch
- 9 collectible hero trading cards
- Sticker sheet
- 2 sided poster with game map and extended cover artwork
Nicktoons & The Dice of Destiny is scheduled to release onto Xbox Series, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and Steam, and will do so on the thirtieth of September. It’ll set you back $49.99 USD, unless you buy the aforementioned Collector’s Edition ($79.99 USD) or the Digital Deluxe Edition featuring the Wardrobe of Wonder content ($59.99 USD). The DLC will be sold separately for $14.99.
