Step into the 1970s with a new Death on the Nile trailer

Fans of murder mysteries and, perhaps even Agatha Christie novels, will be happy to see that a new trailer for Death on the Nile has been released.

Based on one of the iconic author’s most well known works, Death on the Nile takes us back to the 1970s.

“Titled “How to be a brilliant detective?”, this new trailer showcases the key investigative skills players will need to master in order to unravel the mystery at the heart of the game.

Set against a 1970s-inspired visual backdrop and driven by a stylish original soundtrack (now fully available on all major streaming platforms), the trailer offers an in-depth look at the game’s stealth and investigation mechanics.

It also provides a first glimpse at several new gameplay features introduced in this latest installment, including:

  • Puzzle-solving
  • Crime scene reconstructions
  • Discreet listening
  • Tailing suspects
  • In-depth inspections of crime scenes and key objects
  • Interrogations and confrontations with witnesses and suspects
  • The Mind Palace, featuring the Association of Clues system and the 2D Puzzle Workshops

Agatha Christie’s Death on the Nile is heading to PS5, Xbox Series, Switch and PC, and will begin its investigation on September 25th.
