Treyarch made two relatively notable announcements today, both of which pertain to Call of Duty: Black Ops 7.
The first of the two announcements pertains to Endgame; the extraction style mode that unlocks after people finish the co-op story campaign. Starting on Friday, Endgame will be unlocked for everyone, including those who’ve never played the story mode. That said, those who have already unlocked this bonus mode will receive some perks.
“Team up with other players to complete objectives, increase your power, earn unique Weapon Camos, and take on new threats across the entirety of Avalon. Keep pushing into escalating zones of difficulty and exfil safely to maintain your Combat Rating and live another day.
If you’ve already completed the Co-Op Campaign to unlock Endgame, we’re sending additional rewards your way. Players who’ve already gained access to Endgame before it’s unlocked for everyone on Friday will receive:
➕ 3x 1-Hour Double Level XP Tokens
➕ 3x 1-Hour Double Weapon XP Tokens
➕ 3x 1-Hour Double Battle Pass XP Tokens
➕ 3x Perkaholic GobbleGums
These are on top of the unique rewards unlocked throughout the Co-Op Campaign, as well as Global XP and dedicated Camo track.”
The second announcement is all about Nuketown, which will also return this week. In fact, Nuketown 2025 will be added into the game’s multiplayer suite starting tomorrow.
You can watch the attached video for a walkthrough of this new take on Nuketown, which takes the form of a futuristic neighbourhood on the brink of obliteration.
Stay tuned for our review of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, which will be published later this week.
