Today, Avowed — last year’s high profile action RPG from Obsidian and Microsoft Studios — was officially announced for PlayStation 5. As such, it will be the next Xbox exclusive to migrate to a Sony console.
When Avowed comes to PlayStation 5 on February 17th, it will do so alongside the game’s planned and previously announced anniversary update. This update promises the following requested options:
- New game plus mode
- Photo mode
- Three new races to play as (Aumaua, Orlan, and Dwarves)
- The ability to change appearance in the overworld
- A new weapon type
Preorders for the PS5 version of Avowed are now live. The anniversary update will come to all versions of the game, though, at no cost.
