Four years after it originally launched, the dark and disturbing puzzle/survival game, The Mortuary Assistant, is heading to the silver screen. It will do so on February 13th, promising a faithful adaptation of the terrifying stories of Rebecca, Raymond and the River Fields Mortuary.
The screenplay was co-written by Brian Clarke, who created the hit horror game. It’s being produced by DREAD, a side arm of DreadXP, alongside Traverse Media and Epic, and will star Willa Holland.
The movie adaptation of The Mortuary Assistant will come to select theatres later this week, and will then premiere on Shudder on March 27th.
