Horror fans had it good today, as at least a few scary games made an appearance at Sony’s livestreamed event. The last one of note is Until Dawn 2 — a surprise and welcomed reveal.
This time around, the game is being handled by Firesprite. They promise an experience that is full of the same, unpredictable, modern horror that fans of the 2015 classic would expect. That, as well as choices, and a game world in which forming relationships with other characters is more important than ever.
Until Dawn 2 follows a group of ghost hunters who’ve signed a big TV deal. The problem is that they haven’t had any success in the past. As such, they decide to venture to an abandoned and haunted tropical island, where they find more than they were bargaining for.
Until Dawn 2 will launch next year.
