To coincide with National Garfield Day, Microids has revealed that they are working on a new platformer starring the iconic orange cat, with development coming from OSome Studio. Said title is appropriately named Garfield: Escape From Monday.
After being fed spinach lasagna, Garfield falls into a deep sleep full of nightmares about vegetables, sugar-free candies and other such horrors. In order to wake up, he must embark on an adventure full of unique worlds packed with enemies, challenges and more. Thankfully, he will be able to rely on his friends (Jon, Odie, Arlene and Pookie), and can use different costumes that offer special abilities, including turkey, surfer and cowboy. He will have to master these abilities, in order to return to consciousness and defeat formidable nightmare bosses.

- Embody Garfield in every form: Go airborne dressed as a turkey, slide on the water like a surfer and swing with your cowboy lasso!

Garfield: Escape From Monday will be available on September 24th, for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and PC.
