Dawn of War IV has been delayed

The Emperor needs more time to prepare, meaning that Dawn of War IV will not make its scheduled launch date. Instead, it has been delayed until December 3rd.

“As we approached the final stages of development, we saw an opportunity to further enhance Dawn of War IV and deliver the quality of experience we’ve always envisioned,” said Creative Director Jan Theysen. “The additional time will allow us to continue optimizing performance, resolving bugs, and applying further polish to ensure players have the best possible experience from day one.”

KING Art Games promises more gameplay showcases, reports and updates until then. They also revealed Dawn of War IV’s Year One roadmap, with revised launch timing.

“The war will continue long after launch. Throughout Year One, players can look forward to free updates including the return of Crusade Mode, new maps, modes, Commanders, and the Mission Editor, alongside two major story expansions that will deepen the conflict on Kronus and introduce a new playable faction to the battlefield.“
