On the twenty-seventh of this month, Dreamworks Animation’s Forgotten Island will become available to watch at home. The movie — which has a 96% audience score on RottenTomatoes — will be available on digital platforms then. According to today’s release, it won’t be made available on streaming service(s) for months after that.
The movie will then come to retail, via physical means (4K UHD, Blu-ray and DVD) on the first of snowy December. When it does, it’ll have a suite of special features, including several behind-the-scenes featurettes and a commentary track with its two writer/director’s.
“On their last night before embarking on separate life paths, best friends Jo and Raissa find a mysterious portal that transports them to Nakali, a mythical island filled with magical creatures they learned about from their Filipino families. As Jo and Raissa search for a way home, they discover their memories are at risk. Will they find a way off the island before they forget each other forever?“
