Sony and Santa Monica Studio have announced that they’ve made the joint decision to delay the next God of War game. As such, God of War: Laufey will now launch on the 20th of May, 2027.
The short letter to fans that accompanies this delay mentions wanting to give the game more time, in order to make sure that it’s good enough for fans. It seems that they want and need more time to polish and complete it.
