It’s hard to believe it, but we’re just weeks away from the release of Grand Theft Auto VI. The first new game in the series since the Xbox 360/PS3 era, it’s sure to be the biggest game of the year, as well as the game of the generation. At least, one would surmise that.
Rockstar Games previously announced that Grand Theft Auto VI will be 212gb in size. Now, they’ve revealed that those who’ve already preordered the game will be able to start installing it on the 10th of this month. Doing so will ensure access to the game when it officially launches on November 19th.
Those who preorder the Ultimate Edition ($139.99 CAD) will gain access to an exclusive collection of vehicles, weapons, apparel and action spread throughout Jason and Lucia’s story.
With this news, PlayStation Canada has sent out a suggested guide for those with interest in preloading and playing Grand Theft Auto VI at launch. We have simply copied and pasted it, and are not trying to tell you what to buy.
- Set up a PlayStation account or ensure your existing account is ready before launch
- Pre-order Grand Theft Auto VI through PlayStation Store or participating retailers
- Clear a minimum of 212GB of storage space on PS5 ahead of pre-download
- Complete a PS5 setup with accessories such as the DualSense Edge wireless controller, PlayStation Pulse wireless headset, and Pulse Elevate Wireless speakers.
