Ignore my attempt at a fancy synonymic title. This past week, I’ve been getting a lot of work done. In addition to getting some work done with a client I’ve been working with, I recently picked up a few photo gigs. Next week, I’ll be shooting Edgefest as well as the Much Music Video Awards (MMVAs), and I have an interview with Bedouin Soundclash currently in limbo (fingers crossed!).  Jump the break for some news that explains the header graphic.

Yesterday, I picked myself up a fancy new 15″ MacBook Pro.  Nearly $2500 into the purchase, I’m a little cynical about every tiny detail that annoys me in the slightest, but I’m sure that will go away soon. One thing that won’t be going away anytime soon? Battery life! I’ve been on this thing for about three hours so far and I’ve still got another three in the tank! Schveet.

I’m still in the process of updating the new computer with my files, music, photos, etc. Of course, it’s taking its sweet time because I’m using USB (while the drive actually supports FireWire 400, the new MBP only has a FW 800 port). Updating is set to finish in a few minutes, and I’ll be off to prepare for the potential Bedouin interview! See you soon!
