ESA sets E3 2015 for June 16-18 next year

E3 2014 is starting to wind down, which means it’s time for us to anticipate next year’s E3!

Fortunately, as usual, the ESA has wasted no time setting the date for next year’s E3, which will take place between Tuesday, June 16th, to Thursday, June 18th, 2015. Presumably, Microsoft, EA, Ubisoft and Sony would continue to host their annual pre-E3 press conferences on the preceding Monday of that week.

As usual, it’s anyone’s guess as to what Nintendo may end up doing for their E3 2015 keynote, though for the past several years, it’s always taken place on the Tuesday immediately before the E3 show floor opens, even if they opt out of a live press conference at the show proper.

Being the first E3 since the launch of the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One this past November, E3 2014 was an especially busy and exciting show! Numerous previously-announced games were demonstrated at greater length, and plenty of surprise games were unveiled by third-party publishers, but especially by the Big Three console and handheld makers.

Given that the vast majority of games announced at this year’s E3 were pegged for a 2015 release, it’s probable that we’ll be seeing many of them again at next year’s expo.

Eggplante will return to E3 2015, but in the meantime, don’t forget to check out our news and coverage of the games and announcements of E3 2014.

See you at next year’s show!
