All eyes are on the highly anticipated Pokemon remakes, Pokemon Omega Ruby and Pokemon Alpha Sapphire, set to launch for 3DS on November 21st. If you want to take your Pokemon fix in a different direction however, you have one other option.
Nintendo has just confirmed that Pokemon Art Academy, a Pokemon-themed spin-off to their popular Art Academy self-improvement software, will release for 3DS on October 24th in North America. As the title suggests, the game will teach you how to draw various Pokemon from throughout the franchise’s history, from the well-known Pikachu, to more recent critters like Fletchling.
Pokemon Art Academy is already available in Europe and Japan, where Pokemon fans with a love of art have received it well. The game allows you to share your drawings using the 3DS’s Miiverse application, and you can also save them on your SD Card to load up on a computer and print out.
Pokemon Art Academy will cost $39.99, and will be available both at retail, and digitally downloadable directly from the 3DS eShop.
Eggplante will continue to catch all of your Pokemon news and updates.
