Ghost Recon: Wildlands now has a free, five hour trial

Those who’ve been on the fence about purchasing Ghost Recon: Wildlands are in luck, as Ubisoft has officially announced, and released, a five hour-long trial for the game.

Starting this weekend, interested parties can try their hand at the game’s open world, Mercenaries-esque gameplay, either by themselves or with a friend. This will allow them to make an informed decision as to whether or not to buy what has become one of the year’s most successful releases.

If you’re interested, visit the store on your console of choice. While you wait, though, make sure to check out our very positive and incredibly detailed review of the game if you haven’t done so already.

Also, don’t worry about how much progress you’ll make in five hours. Ghost Recon: Wildlands is a massive game with many hours of gameplay, and could easily last someone upwards of one hundred hours. It takes quite a while to simply beat the campaign, and even then you only need to take out half of the game’s many targets in order to do so, meaning that there’s lots of reason to go back to it.
