Three new Assassin’s Creed: Origins videos have dropped

Only a few weeks remain before Assassin’s Creed: Origins will take gamers on a violent, albeit historical journey through Ancient Egypt. As such, Ubisoft has begun to ramp up its advertising, dropping three new videos that all offer something different.

The first of the bunch — “Birth of the Brotherhood” — is a story trailer that uses cutscene footage to briefly chronicle the origins of the Assassins’ regime. It does its job well, acting as both a visceral watch and a source of intrigue that makes you want to play the game even more.

Next up is “Tales From the Tomb,” which attempts to mix history with talking Egyptian wall paintings and hieroglyphics. It’s a bit cheesy, to say the least.

Last but certainly not least, is a several minute-long gameplay walkthrough, which is all about the game’s stealth, upgrade and related gameplay mechanics. Featuring interviews with different members of the development team, it’s easily the most interesting and informative of the bunch, for obvious reasons.

Assassin’s Creed: Origins will be fully playable starting on October 27th. Make sure to check back around then for our full review of the game.
