The next big thing in gaming is battle royale, as evidenced by the success of games like Fortnite and Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds, not to mention the fact that Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will skip a narrative campaign in favour of it. EA doesn’t want to miss this party, and has thrown its hat into the ring today with the announcement of a battle royale mode for Battlefield V.
All we got during EA’s E3 2018 presser was a tease, with the promise of more at a later date, but it was enough to impress the crowd and surely excite millions watching from around the globe.
