Xbox Series X/S get prices and release dates

This afternoon, Microsoft confirmed that the Xbox Series X will launch alongside the cheaper Xbox Series S on November 10th. Together, the two will offer fans next-gen performance at very different price points.

While the smaller, less powerful and digital only Xbox Series S will retail for $299.99 USD, the Series X will be $499.99 USD. For whatever reason, this translates to $379.99 Canadian and $599.99 Canadian, respectively.

Take note: Pre-orders will begin on the 22nd of this month.

Also worth mentioning is that Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and Game Pass for PC users will receive free EA Play memberships. That’s what EA Access is becoming.

Those with interest can get one of these two consoles for a monthly rate, as opposed to paying the whole price upfront. This will be handled through the Xbox All Access program, and will start at $24.99 (USD) per month. If you go this route, you will also receive an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription for the entire financing period, which will last for 2 years or 24 months.
