We weren’t given any informative updates pertaining to Battlefield 2042, but Microsoft did remind us of the game’s existence by sharing a lengthy gameplay trailer. Made up of Alpha footage, it shows a world in disorder, which up to 128 players will battle to control.

Battlefield 2043 will be released this holiday season, but unfortunately will not contain a campaign. Its exact release date is October 22, 2021.
