During its latest Night City Wire presentation, CD Projekt Red unveiled a wealth of Cyberpunk 2077 news, including details pertaining to its upcoming expansion.
Game Director Gabe Amatangelo introduced this single planned expansion, which the studio has titled Phantom Liberty. He revealed that it will feature a new cast of characters, as well as a new location within Night City. Afterwards, it was revealed that Keanu Reeves will also reprise his role as Johnny Silverhand within this add-on.
Cyberpunk 2077 is expected to receive its Phantom Liberty DLC in 2023. Please note, however, that it is not planned for last-gen consoles.
In other related news, the folks at CD Projekt RED also revealed details of the game’s Edgerunners update, which is now live. It adds equippable items from the upcoming anime of the same name, a wardrobe system, cross-platform progression and the ability to play Roach Race at any arcade cabinet.
