The next game in Electronic Arts’ iconic and long-running Need for Speed series is subtitled Unbound, and it’s not far away from releasing. It’ll be somewhat different from its peers, too.
Mixing cel-shaded graphics and realistic looking cars, Need for Speed: Unbound will task players with entering the street racing scene to recover a stolen car of some significance. Leading the charge will be rapper A$AP Rocky, who is said to play a prominent role.
Unbound promises “true consequences” for player decisions, but will feature series staples like heat. That is, alongside its Takeover Scene; a precision driving mode that rewards you for style, and is led by A$AP Rocky.
Needless to say, his (and other) hip-hop music will also be prevalent within.
Need for Speed: Unbound will come to next gen consoles and PC on December 2nd, and free, post launch, updates are promised.
