Deep Silver has officially delayed Dead Island 2, after the game recently resurfaced following a long hiatus in which it was thought dead. Its new release date is April 28, 2023.
In a letter to the series’ fans, Dambuster Studios and Deep Silver stated that “The irony of delaying Dead Island 2 is not lost on us.” They went on to say that they’re disappointed, but that this (12 week) delay will allow them to give the game the time it needs.
A new trailer for Dead Island 2 has also been promised, and will debut on December 6.
