Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II made an appearance at today’s Xbox Showcase, and instantly changed the tone from light to dark. It did this with a brand new trailer, which is disturbing to say the least.
What you’ll see by watching this new video is a CG scene in which our protagonist emerges into a dark cave, where something unheard of awaits. All the while, she’s dealing with added voices in her head.
This is another one we can’t wait for. The first game was a very nice surprise, and its depiction of mental illness was very well done.
