Taking to the stage amidst the song ‘Came Back Haunted’ by the extraordinary Trent Reznor/Nine Inch Nails, Hideo Kojima shared more about his strange new project, OD.
If you haven’t heard of OD before, it’s a partnership between Kojima Productions and Microsoft Game Studios. It stars Sophia Lillis, Hunter Schafer and Udo Kier. To say it’s strange — especially its latest trailer — would be understating things.
OD is a game, but it’s also a movie and a new form of media. It has something to do with filmmaker Jordan Peele as well, as he took the stage too. According to him, his collaboration with the ‘GOAT’ is deeply immersive and terrifying.
Jordan Peele isn’t the only collaborator, though. Kojima says he has others who are ‘legends,’ whom he calls ‘The Avengers.’
