Avowed — Obsidian’s upcoming RPG — was one of the stars of today’s Xbox presentation.
During the online event, the Microsoft owned developer shared new info and gameplay from the anticipated new IP, which takes place in the same world as the Pillars of Eternity series. In said trailer, they showcased the Skyrim-like RPG’s combat and choices. You’ll see how it’s possible to quickly switch from melee combat to ranged, using bows, magic and more, and get a sense of the game world.
Avowed will release onto Xbox Series, Game Pass and PC via Steam this fall.
