The folks at ASUS have revealed a new line of gaming phones that are marketed towards those who like to get the most out of their mobile gaming. They call it the ROG Phone 9 Series.
Described as being “stylish and powerful gaming phones, developed to offer the best possible gaming experience in a premium phone design,” they aren’t exactly made for your average Candy Crush player.
At launch, there will be two different models of the ROG Phone 9 Series made available: the ROG Phone 9 and the ROG Phone 9 Pro.

These phones are said to be styled for gamers, and feature a futuristic feeling and looking design, which incorporates a sophisticated matte black finish and crystallized nano-textures. The AniMe Vision auxiliary display is a special feature, which will incorporate 648 mini LEDs on the Pro model. It is totally invisible when not in use, but helps deliver the best gaming aesthetic.

The ASUS ROG Phone 9 and ROG Phone 9 Pro will be available during early Q1 2025. The ROG Phone 9 base model, with 12gb/250gb and a black finish, starts at $999.99 USD, and it has two other options that go up to as much as $1199.99. Meanwhile, the Pro Edition can be as much as $1499.99. The AeroActive Cooler X is then $99.99, while the Pro option is $119.99.
