In an attempt to introduce potential players to their game, its world and its characters, the folks behind the turn-based RPG, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, have begun a new trailer series. It takes the form of trailers for individual characters.
This series began today, with a new video that focuses on Gustave.
“Each character in Expedition 33 has their own story, motivation, and emotional arc that players can look forward to discovering when the game launches on April 24. Alongside their own skill trees and powerful weapons to discover, each character also has a unique combat mechanic to master in their mission to destroy the Paintress.
In today’s trailer, fans can discover more about Gustave (voiced in English by Charlie Cox and in French by Alexandre Gillet), an engineer who has dedicated his life to the city of Lumière’s defense and agricultural systems. As an Expeditioner, he devotes his final year of life to defeating the Paintress and reclaiming a future for Lumière’s children.”
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 will be released on April 24th, and will be a day one Game Pass title. New character trailers will be released in the lead-up to launch.
