Well, the rumours were true (and poorly kept)! Bethesda did start work on The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, and it is releasing soon. Actually, it did so today!
We knew that an announcement was going to be made today, after yesterday’s official tease. However, we didn’t expect to be able to buy, download and play the game right away!
“From Bethesda Game Studios in partnership with the talented team at Virtuos, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered modernizes the 2006 Game of the Year with refined gameplay and all new stunning visuals running at 4K resolution and 60 frames per second. Rediscover Cyrodiil and journey through the rich world, where handcrafted details have been meticulously updated down to leveling systems, character creation, combat animations, in-game menus, and more.
Stop the forces of Oblivion from overtaking the land and experience all (and more) that the predecessor to the award-winning The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has to offer. Step inside a universe bursting with captivating stories, encounter an unforgettable cast of characters, join storied guilds, conquer the legendary Arena, and ultimately become the Champion of Cyrodiil. Players can experience the complete story with The Shivering Isles and Knights of the Nine story expansions, also included in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered.”
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered is out now, on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5 and PC. It’s also available on Game Pass.
